"The 12,000 square foot space currently occupied by Frugal Franks at 126 Shove Street in Fall River has been leased to a new tenant. Feartown Productions is aiming to move into the space sometime in June.

Alexander Carrigg of The Zander Company Global brokered the deal.

Carrigg tells Fall River Development News that the company has some great ideas for the space and believes it will be well received."

FALL RIVER — The big brick building on Globe Mills Avenue is more than just a relic of the city’s industrial past.

It is also a hot property, the broker handling the sale of the mill said.

“It has had a lot of interest, people from New York, New Jersey, Boston,” said Alexander Carrigg, a broker with the Zander Company Global.

During Tuesday’s City Council Committee on Finance meeting during citizen input, licensed Realtor Alexander Carrigg said that abutters to the proposed billboard sites had only been notified by the zoning board a 1-1/2 weeks before.

“No abutters were notified until now. My initial concern is this proposal is on the fast track for approval without greater citizen input,” Carrigg said.

In total, there were 21 conditions to the proposal, with one additional condition, which was added at the meeting Tuesday. A motion to approve the plan — with those conditions included — carried with a vote of six to one.

Carrigg said that he and Carricorp believe in the safety of the turn. “There’s no gray area for traffic; it’s numbers,” said Carrigg. “It’s facts.”
